OGUN PDP IN DISARRAY; BIGWIGS SENATOR BURUJI, HON.LADI ADEBUTU IN SHOW OF SHAME. HON.LADI ADEBUTU SLAPS SENATOR KASAMU BURUJI OPENLY AT PDP CONVENTION IN P/H
Factional supporters in the crises rocking the Ogun State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) have alleged that things took a frightening dimension this last Tuesday as two warring leaders for the State’s party structure, Senator Buruji Kashamu, and Hon. Oladipupo Adebutu,  went physical fight in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, venue of the court-aborted PDP Convention.
We gathered that it took the intervention of some other party members present, and mostly supporters of the party’s Caretaker committee chairman, Sen. Ahmed Markafi, who razed to the scene, to douse tensions.
Both Kashamu and Adebutu have been at loggerheads over the control the structure of the PDP in Ogun State.
Ladi Adebutu, it was gathered, had aligned with the Makarfi-led exco while Buruji Kasamu is on the side of Senator Ali Modu Sheriff.

Although, those who shared the story claimed that Senator Kashamu started the attack by physically assaulting Adebutu at the car park of the Presidential Hotel, although we could not confirm it. but we will bring update on this crisis in our next bulletins.

MASS MEDIA IS KILLING GOSPEL MUSIC, THEY GIVE PRORITY TO CIRCULAR MUSIC THAN GOSPEL -LANRE TERIBA

MASS MEDIA IS KILLING GOSPEL MUSIC, THEY GIVE PRORITY TO CIRCULAR MUSIC THAN GOSPEL
-LANRE TERIBA
Gospel musician, Lanre Teriba aka atorise recently had a chat with selected media boss in Lagos recently society herald was there too, enjoy the chat we had with him
What is new about Lanre bow?
What is new about Lanre Teriba is that he's more than a gospel music artist, I am an inspirational music artist
We've not been seeing you like before in the spotlight, what have you been doing?
Well we've been working, but there's no avenue to showcase what we've been working on, we've been doing different things but the situation is that the economy and the music industry generally in Nigeria is not really favoring us, we that are singing Christian songs in Nigeria.
What did you mean by "there's no avenue to showcase what we've been doing"?
Because a lot of the TV and radio stations in Nigeria believe more in the circular music more than the inspirational music and this is not encouraging it is also not educating our children, it is not giving our children future and the fact that nobody is saying anything about it, people are not paying attention to us, I just want to use this medium to pass message out to our people out there, so that they can see from my own point of view that they are not doing it right.
But there is a government agency that controls the content of what goes on air, what do you think this agency can do in the direction of what you’ve just said?
That is the reason I must speak out on behalf of those who are not having the opportunity to express their mind as I am, I don’t know what the regulatory bodies are doing about it but I just want to plead that they should at least give God some chance to rule. We are all from God and we are still going back to him as every good things in this life belong to God, so I want the people to do it right so that we can get it right.
You mentioned earlier that people especially children can be morally influenced by what they are hearing in terms of music, so how can your own brand of music influence the change in moral decadence that is gradually taking over the country?
I said earlier that I’m an inspirational artiste, my songs are message laden, but the issue is when we are not getting the chance like the circular songs to reach out to the people, it is therefore difficult for those listening to get the inspirational messages in our songs. Like I mentioned earlier, most of the station don’t want to have much to do with gospel or inspirational songs.
Most songs the youths follows these days are digital mix, while most of your songs are analogue, has it ever crossed your mind to also digitalised your songs maybe it will be appealing to the youths?
Of course, one or two of my albums are digital mixed, I record the albums in digital studios, with digital beats just to follow the trend, but I still have to make it meaningful and inspirational but fact is still that it was still treated like the rest since I won’t damn morals in it.
Don’t you think the government have a role to play in re-orienting the people about the whole situation?
Yes, I think the government should work on the regulatory body, urging the broadcasting organisation to give more time also for the inspirational songs especially the local Nigerian music, because what I see is that we are promoting foreign music more that the local music and this is creating a serious cultural erosion crisis for the youths, whereas stations in these foreign countries are not airing our songs in their countries. Take for example South Africa, they play more of their indigenous music on their stations than they do foreign music and this is helping their music industry to grow, while here in Nigeria we give credence to foreign music ahead of our own.
You said Nigerian stations are playing more foreign songs than local, don’t you think this may have to do with the fact that they are playing safe due to activities of COSON in the country of late and to which extent have you gone to introduce your song to them?
I have been to so many station, because each time I release an album, I do a tour to all these stations where, usually drop my music for them which signifies that I am giving them the go ahead to play it, but I realised that most of these stations prefers songs from hip-hop artiste even when it does not make any sense to the inspirational music genre which they tagged local, and in fact they were right because hip-hop is a foreign brand of music while our brand of music is full percussionist kind of music.
Though there is need to move with the trend but that does not mean they should do that to the detriment of our indigenous genre of music.
Do you think this is also the reason such music as yours are scarcely mentioned in musical awards in Nigeria?
That is what I’m talking about, there’s nothing stopping the organisers of musical awards in showcasing inspirational artistes, they can also have a particular section for gospel and inspirational music, you see everything that has to do with God is inspiration, He’s the giver of life, hope and joy and nobody has deemed it fit to create a section that will appreciate those that are singing to pass God’s message of hope to the people.
It is a common occurrence whereby supposed gospel artistes decided to go circular in the course of doing gospel maybe due to the things obtainable in the industry
It is not that they’ve deviated, it is just that we are trying to follow the trend due to what we’ve been talking about that we are facing, you know I have been informed before by an owner of one of these medium that they want to be playing my songs but that I should try to feature one or two hip-hop artistes, so you understand what we are going through, knowing that I’m a brand myself, so imagine that is being said to an artiste that is just coming up what do you thing he will do? So that is the crisis that we are facing.
And I have also featured Oritse Femi, mind you that does not make me a circular musician, in fact I did that because I want to reach out to the youths, you know Jesus will move with the wretched just to win their soul, I can also do that to make sure my messages reach where it is expected to reach.
One thing is common among the youths and that is the fact that many of them care less about the message in any song provided they can dance to it, what can you say to this?
That is exactly what I have been trying to correct, I want to give them beat they can dance to while they will be listening to the inspirational message, I want a situation where they will be getting both the beat and the message.
What are your expectation from the government and corporate organisations?
We want the government to create an enabling environment for us to operate, if we are getting avenues to showcase our self and we are not restricted on the broadcast mediums we will shoot goo videos that will compete favourably with those in the international market.
I also want to employ the corporate organisations also not to overlook inspirational artistes with endorsements, if they are supporting us the same way they are supporting the circular music we will surely do more. You can imagine some organisation supporting an artiste whose song you don’t want your children to listen to because you want their fame to rub off on your product, their message you know will dim the morals of your children yet you are supporting them? So I’ll want them to also support whose music will help create an enabling society for us all.
Any new project?
I’m currently working on my new album, it has been about two years now that I last released an album and I also just get an endorsement from Techno Mobile, but presently I’m working on a new album, I want to be releasing album every two years now unlike every year that I was doing.
Is the Techno Mobile your first endorsement?
Yes it is my first major endorsement, before now I have got a couple of minor endorsements from clothing lines and many more like that but the Techno Mobile is my first major endorsement.
What will be the impact of the endorsement?
It will encourage me to work harder, it will also help my music spread all over the world as people will be able to download my music using their Techno devises.
What should come to people’s mind about Atorise?
God should come to people’s mind, because God is Atorise, my name is Lanre Teriba, and only God is the source of inspiration.
Rumour has it sometimes back that you’ve been expelled from the Gospel Musician Association of Nigeria (GOMAN), what really happened and from where did the story emanate?
The truth is, that did not happen and it will never happen, like I said earlier I am an inspirational artiste, I am a full time member of GOMAN and I’m also eyeing the position of the Vice President in the association forthcoming elections.
But why the rumour? You know there is a saying that there is no smoke without fire
I believe people will only peddle rumour about you because you are relevant and it is a due you must pay to be a star, so I don’t have problems with that. In the order hands it may be because of my relationship with some circular artistes who features me in their concerts, and what they don’t know is that I will not allow any opportunity to reach out through my message to the people pass me by, so I have featured in concert with Juju, Fuji and Hip-Hop artistes so that may be the reason they thought I’m no longer in GOMAN.

YABA LCDA WILL WITNESS TREMENDOUS CHANGE UNDER MY LEADERSHIP —BAYO ADEFUYE

YABA LCDA WILL WITNESS TREMENDOUS CHANGE UNDER MY LEADERSHIP
—BAYO ADEFUYE.
He is young with a lot of experience to make that can make things happen as the sole administrator of Yaba local councils development area, Hon Bayo Adefuye told the Editor or society herald magazine, Sunday Adeyemi in this exclusive chat at the 72th birthday of his dad, senator Anthony Adefuye at their lekki home said he will ensure that the good people of Yaba LCDS get the best of governance by providing meaningful leadership in the area of health, road construction, security. youth empowerment and the rest, he said his prayer Is to surpass the quality leadership style of his dad in politic, he also tell me what he really learn from his father politically enjoy the chat.
Kindly introduce yourself Sir.?
Yes thank and welcome, am Adebayo Adefuye, am the sole administrator of Yaba LCDA and am happily married.
Your daddy just celebrated his 72th birthday how will you best describe him as a father and a political leader?
Yes my daddy is a wonderful Father, my role model and confidant, one in a million, I so much like him because he is very good to all his children, he train all of us in the Christian rightful ways and always make us remember that in whatever we do in life we must put God first, so he is everything to me, as a political leader, yes he has really done his best. He serve this nation meritoriously as a distinguished senator of the federal republic of Nigeria while in Lagos contributed to what all of us is now enjoying democratically, so my dad without missing word as contributed to the democratically governance we are enjoying today, on this note, I congratulate him as he turn 72th, and I pray that the Almighty God will continue to sustain him with good health for us in Jesus name. Amen
So what are the things you have learn from him as a father?
Like I said I learn a lot, today am the sloe administrator of Yaba LCDA, one of the principle I practice or preach at my office is one of the things I learn from him which is punctuality, some school of taught said punctuality is the soul of business, so I imbibed on this, also he taught me that whatever I do, I must do it well and the mist important is the spirit of tolerance, you know ad a leader you must be tolerant, for a leader to be successful you must be tolerant, so I use this principles to guide myself, and that is how I have been able to cope with all the management team at my local government.
You are the sole administrator of Yaba LCDA, tell me your experience so far at the council since your assumption?
Yes the experience has been wonderful, the good people of Yaba local government had made the job so easy for me with their cooperation, you know if you are new in an area and the people there accept you in total, things will work in your favor, the good people of Yaba has made the job good for me, also the people of Yaba understand the fact that governance should not be left in the hand of the chairman alone so they are always there to make their contributions too.
Are you saying no challenged so far?
No I never say no challenged, but it is minimal, we all know that there are lot of expectation from the people, the issue of who come first is another challenge, also in the area of challenging residence to pay their tax, we meet to go extra mile sometime enforced before people come to term with this visions, we in all we thank God for the journey so far.
Sir you are coming from the private sector to the public decor though you have a robust experience in politics, his have you been able to marry this two together and getting this result you have today in your council,?
Yes to me I don’t see so many difference between the two, well I can even say the private sector has more commitment, take for example  when we resume office staff of the local govt comes to work at their convenient time, we have to talk call them to other. You know anything that involves the government people will say, it’s not my father’s property, which is not like that in the private sector, while I was in the private sector or my staffs must be at work as Early as 7:30am if they want to retain their job, which is not so when we came in, but today at Yaba LCDA, I have been able to correct that ideology, also people believe things are done more faster in the private sector, today have been able to adjust services rendered in my local government to be more faster than before.
Sir can you tell us some of your laudable project plan on going to make your council area the best and or the betterment of the people?
Yes when we came in. We did a thorough cross examination of all the immediate need of the good people of Yaba LCDA and we made out some finding s, we realized that we need more health care facilities, we need to expand our health care deliveries, and we have started in Earnest to fix back what the people needed. Also on education development we procured jamb form for indigent student and also add some block of classroom where needed, the youth empower too is paramount in our agenda, rehabilitation too is very key in our plan, so we have a lot in our agenda, so the good people of Yaba will get the best in term of dividend of democracy from my leadership term in the council. on sport development we are at the best of it too.
Yaba is gradually becoming calm when it comes to security treat, what are you doing to ensure the area continue to be peaceful security wise?
If we engaged the youths, security will be guarantee, just keep your finger cross we have map out ideals to position our youth, so that they will be useful to themselves and shun violence totally.
Sir today you are a sole administrator tomorrow if the opportunity knocks and the people of Yaba said they want you to continue as their chairman will you accept and how prepared are you to be the council chairman,?
Like I always says there is no much differences between sole administrator and chairman, the difference is more has a legislative backing and the other no, but the tasks is the same, if the door knock like you said I Will, and an ready willing to serve with God behind me.
Sir can we say you will work add to surpass your dads record politically?
Well the pride of all parent is that, their children pass them in whatever they do and I believe my dad is not left out, so what i see is that my father has really achieve politically, but judging by the age he started, am more younger that when he start and if we have to judge by this I might have gone far when i get to his age, but I must confess he had really done well politically.
What should we expect to see new in term of development, in Yaba LCDA when our crew will visit the area a in the next 3 months?
Don’t stress yourself for three month and assuring you  in the next few weeks go to Yaba and ask the people they will surely be glad to tell you yes the leadership of the council is excellent in their governance
Are you working in line with the development policies of the state government in your LCDA, and are you complimenting all the state government efforts in your council area?
Yes the state government under the leadership of his Excellency Gov. Akinwunmi Ambode is not leaving any stone on turn to ensures that the State get the best in term of dividend of democracy to we are doing too at the council, we compliment all state efforts, if you recollect the tree plantation program, we did same at the council.
Your final word to your constituents?
I want the good people of Yaba LCDA to see us as there partner in term of development and I employed them to join hand support of government to achieve the set goal so that development will come to the area.

ZAMBIANS PRESIDENTIAL POLLS, PROPHET JOSHUA IGINLA COMMENDED AS ACCURATE SEER OVER PRESIDENT LUNGU VICTORY

ZAMBIANS PRESIDENTIAL POLLS, PROPHET JOSHUA IGINLA COMMENDED AS ACCURATE SEER OVER PRESIDENT LUNGU VICTORY
Again popular Abuja prophet, Bro. Joshua Iginla has won the heart of Zambians after his prediction of the just concluded presidential election came to pass. Checks revealed that the fiery prophet in January 2016 prophesied that the incumbent president Edgar Lungu would retain his seat as president.
We gathered that it generated a lot of controversies especially when popular prophets across the world especially one from South Africa has chosen the opposition party as winner when the election would hold. Reports revealed that during Iginla’s three days crusade in Zambia On the 5th – 7th of May, 2016
He also declared openly to them that he saw two lions battling each other in the election but the older lion which is Lungu will emerge winner after a stiff competition.
In a Prophecy on December 31, 2015, He said ‘the economy will improve but not as expected. The election in Zambia will be will be like two lions fighting. The president should pray in terms of the election because I see betrayals from his camp and so called faithfuls. But in my vision, I see someone trying to pull him from his seat, yet he remain in the seat’’
Sources from Zambia confirmed to us that all he said about the election which took place on Thursday, 11th of August, 2016 came to pass.

It was a tough time for the Zambians as the battle for the seat of the President was one of a kind, one that has never being experienced.
The battle was between the Leader of Patrotic Front, who is also the sitting President, Edgar Lungu and his opponent, representing United Party for National development, Hakainde Hichilema.
The result of the election was released on  Monday, 15th of August, 2016, in favour of President Edgar Lungu, confirming  Joshua Iginla’s prophecy.
According to reports, Zambia's incumbent President Edgar Lungu has been declared the winner of a closely fought presidential election, but the result was immediately challenged by his main opponent Hakainde Hichilema. Lungu, leader of the Patriotic Front (PF), won 50.35 percent of Thursday's vote, against 47.67 percent for Hichilema, of the United Party for National Development (UPND), the Electoral Commission of Zambia said on Monday. The opposition party quickly, however, rejected the result, claiming the electoral commission had colluded to rig the vote against its candidate, to confirm the prophecy.
Similarly, In 2014, when Zambia President at that time, Michael Sata passed on after suffering from a strange illness, and an election was to be carried out, the Fiery Prophet, Joshua Iginla predicted that Edgar Lungu will be the President of the country whenever the election is carried out, even though Satas vice President, Dr Scott was appointed as acting President, Lungu was however appointed as the President after the election was observed
