Commissioner for Information, Zamfara state, the number one image maker of the state said; "The general public is hereby informed that the content of the clip is blatant lie that is baseless and unfounded. It is nothing but an attempt to smear the good image and reputation of the government of His Excellency Gov Bello Mohamed Matawallen Maradun."

Masara saud; "for the avoidance of doubt, the government of Zamfara State purchased enough fertilizer for this year’s farming season at cost and ordered its sales at 7,000 Naira per bag as part of its subsidy to the farmers. Government did not force anybody to buy the fertilizer.
Henceforth, anybody found involved in this scam will be dealt with, in accordance to rules of law."

"The government is doing everything possible to help farmers in the state to ensure bumper harvest of food and cash crops in all the nooks and crannies of the state as part of its efforts in ensuring food security in the state."

"Members of the public are therefore advised to report anybody found sabotaging the government efforts in this direction."

Apostle Suleman: Sunday Adelaja Lied, We're Pursuing Our Case with Israel Balogun, Declares OFM

The Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) worldwide has debunked a claim by one Pastor Sunday Adelaja that its General Overseer, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has backed off in his resolve to pursue legally the case of character assassination against his person by a YouTuber, Israel Goodnews Balogun.

Balogun had been invited by the Force Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, for criminally defaming and cyber stalking Apostle Suleman based on the ministrations the cleric held in Atlanta, United States, and Auchi, Edo State, where worshippers showed their phones to testify to receiving miracle credit alerts in their bank accounts.

In a YouTube video posted to discredit Suleman and the crusade, Balogun had called the man of God unprintable names while he also derogatorily refered to him as "a pulpit bandit".

In his Facebook post during the week, Pastor Sunday Adelaja had claimed that Apostle Suleman "blamed the holy spirit and refused to appear in court", adding that all the OFM founder needed was for Israel Balogun to "just tender an apology but instead he got too many lawyers involved".

This Adelaja's claim the OFM said is "a big lie", as no such statement emanated from either the OFM or Apostle Suleman. The OFM insisted on going ahead with the case legally and to a logical conclusion.

"We are going ahead. Adelaja is a liar. Apostle Suleman never made such a statement as posted by Sunday (Adelaja) on his Facebook page," says a statement made available by OFM on Saturday.

Barrister Samuel Amune, a legal counsel to Apostle Suleman, said he had only written to Balogun to recant his statements and apologise for using derogatory remarks against his client, adding that Apostle Suleman never said what Adelaja alleged in his Facebook post.

In Gwoza, Zulum Receives Another Chibok Schoolgirl

Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, on Saturday in Gwoza, received another Chibok Girl who presented herself to the Nigerian Army.

The schoolgirl, Hassana Adamu, alongside her two children, was handed over to Governor Zulum by the Commander, 26 Taskforce Brigade, Brigadier General DR Dantani.

Zulum was in Gwoza from there he moved to Bama, undertaking humanitarian activities. He had just returned from northern Borno where he spent five days for humanitarian interventions.

Hassana was one of over 200 schoolgirls abducted at a Government Secondary School in Chibok on April 14, 2014, by Boko Haram insurgents.

It can be recalled that Ruth Ngladar Pogu and a man said to be her husband had presented themselves to the Nigerian Army on July 28, 2021, at a location in Bama.

Zulum: Borno is in ‘catch-22 situation’ over Boko Haram’s surrender

… Says stakeholders need critical framework

Governor Babagana Umara Zulum on Saturday in Bama and Gwoza, addressed military officers and community leaders, noting that ongoing surrender of Boko Haram fighters has left Borno State with two extremely difficult situations. He said the situation require diverse stakeholders including representatives of attacked communities, to come together and critically review the pros, cons and implications of the surrender, in order to agree on a framework that is well thought-out.

Zulum travelled to Gwoza and Bama local government areas for humanitarian and developmental activities before addressing military commanders at Brigades in Gwoza and Bama, and community leaders at the palaces of the Emir of Gwoza and Shehu of Bama. The Governor delivered the same message in both towns.

"We (in Borno) are in a very difficult situation over the ongoing surrender by insurgents. We have to critically look between two extreme conditions and decide our future. We have to choose between an endless war or to cautiously accept the surrendered terrorists which is really painful and difficult for anyone that has lost loved ones, difficult for all of us and even for the military whose colleagues have died and for volunteers. No one would find it easy to accept killers of his or her parents, children and other loved ones. In the last 12 years we have been in this war, and we have lost thousands of fellow citizens. We don't know the whereabout of thousands of others, we don't know whether they are alive or dead. In these 12 years, millions have been made homeless and many wealthy farmers, transporters and others have been rendered poor. In these years, we were able to cultivate maybe around 3% of the arable land, and as a result our people became dependent on food aid amid donor fatigue and potential food insecurity, infact the repercussions of the Boko Haram crisis are enormous and as someone who has been involved with assessment of the impacts and rebuilding efforts in the last seven years, I am in position to know the endless negative impact the Boko Haram has made in Borno” Zulum said.

The Governor said accepting Boko Haram has the risk of seriously offending the feelings of victims with potential of civil rebellion, just as there is the risk that if Boko Haram fighters willing to surrender are rejected, they can join ISWAP to swell the ranks of fighters in the bush and the path of peace becomes narrowed.

“On my way travelling to Gwoza and Bama, I saw many people cultivating their farmlands by the roadside and this is an indication of emerging peace, which we have to sustain in order to salvage our people. However, like I said, we must come together to carefully analyze the two extremes and come up with a workable framework” Zulum said.

Zulum explained, that he will engage in high level consultations with President Muhammadu Buhari, service chiefs and resident security heads, traditional rulers, elders and religious leaders, national and state assembly members, academics and other stakeholders particularly victims of the crimes perpetrated by the insurgents, so that stakeholders will critically review the situation and come up with a framework on how to move forward.

Meanwhile, Zulum during his visits to Gwoza and Bama, gave developmental directives on improving schools and hospitals

Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy On Ebola Virus Resurfacing In Africa Comes To Pass

Once again, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the Leader Of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has maintained his pace as a true prophet with the fulfilment of another prophecy on resurfacing of Ebola Virus in some parts of Africa.

This prophecy was contained in his annual book of prophecy titled Warnings To The Nations (2021/2022) edition which was launched in June.

On page 327 of the edition, Primate Ayodele warned that there is need for prayers to be done in Africa because he foresees Ebola Virus resurfacing in some parts of Africa.

Two days ago, news broke out that Ivory Coast has recorded the first case of Ebola Virus in the country after twenty five years. With this, Primate Ayodele’s prophecy has once again been fulfilled.

This adds to the many other fulfilled prophecies which includes the troubled state of Afghanistan, Climatic change around the world, never seen before flood disaster in Germany, India, China, to mention a few.

REV DK OLUKOYA'S FORMER PASTOR WHO FRAUDULENTLY HIJACKED MFM CHURCH LOSES APPEAL- FULL STORY

From the get-go, we know that this matter will be adequately delivered since it’s a constant thing that the truth will always prevail, as Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries International, and Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries USA, have successfully defeated an appeal brought by the defendants in a lawsuit filed in Prince George’s County Maryland.

Sometime ago, MFM sued Christ the Truth Ministries, Inc. and its pastor Lawrence Adetunji as well as its Board of Directors including Kayode Ojewale, Christopher Akinduro, Elera Nwogu, Emilola Oke, Koffi Possian, Miriam Morgan, Quadri Adeleke, Raymond Awosika, Beatrice Boateng, Israel Adetunji, Ronke Adetunji, and Esther Adetunji after they conspired to steal all of the real property, money and assets of Mountain of Fire’s branch at Bowie Maryland.

We learnt that Pastor Adetunji who was a former pastor of the Mountain of Fire and miracles ministries Bowie branch and a member of the Board of Directors of MFM USA, and the other defendants secretly and fraudulently created corporate and other legal documents to allow them to transfer the branch property to a newly created ministry, called Christ the Truth Ministries.

The congregation of the MFM branch was intentionally kept in ignorance of these actions and intentions until March 27, 2016, when Lawrence Adetunji announced that the church would now become Christ the Truth Ministries.

We gathered that with this move all of the branch’s assets were then transferred to Christ the Truth Ministries, including two parcels of land containing a church building, a house used for children’s ministries, and the bank accounts of MFM. The two parcels contained nearly 1.5 acres of land.

We later found out that when the authorities of Mountain of Fire and miracles ministers got a wind of this callous and dubious act, they successfully prosecuted a civil action which led to a judgment awarding MFM the return of all assets, real property as well as the money in the bank accounts.

Our investigation led us to realize that Christ the Truth failed and refused to comply with post-judgment court orders and this led to the court awarding attorney’s fees to Mountain of Fire and miracles ministries.

We also learnt that Lawrence Adetunji and the other defendants filed an appeal of the judgment to the Maryland Court of Special Appeals claiming the trial court erred in finding the real property belonged to MFM, that the trial court erred in finding the trustees of Christ the Truth liable for damages and the trial court erred in calculating damages.

IN A UNANIMOUS DECISION, the Court of Special Appeal affirmed the trial court on each and every issue presented. This means that all matters brought before the appeal court by CTM and Lawrence Adetunji and Co have failed.

In this opinion, the Court of Special Appeals stated: “The then trustees of MFM MD USA (Lawrence Adetunji and Co) acted dishonestly when they transferred every asset belonging to MFM-MD USA and MFM International to CTM, and dissolved MFM-MD USA when it was still a viable corporation.”

In my conclusion of this matter, I will say a thief is a thief no matter how well they hide, give them the opportunity to steal and they will prove themselves.

Ogun State Government is based on the principles of justice, fairness and equity… Rt. Hon. Oluomo, Speaker OGSHA

Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo, speaks exclusively in an interview.Excerpts…

How have you been managing the affairs of the Ogun State House of Assembly since you emerged as the Speaker?*

The fact remains that all the 26 of us were elected into the assembly by our people and all of us work for the progress of the state regardless of our political parties.

*What have been the challenges of the office as the first among equal and as the number three citizen of Ogun State?*

As you have said, I am first among equal, other members chose me to speak for them, we see ourselves as one and we manage ourselves effectively. Of course, you cannot get everybody to support an idea, but the wish of the majority will prevail. Even if the minority feels somehow they will still reason with what the majority has done. Besides that, everything we are doing here is for the progress of the state. That is why we don’t have any challenge at all.

*APC is the majority party in the state House of Assembly and the Governor is from the APC, don’t you think the people may have the feeling that the House is a rubber stamp?*

People are free to make their comments. There is no law that says that the legislature should be quarrelling with the executive or that the executive should quarrel with the legislature; it is give and take issue. We have occasions where we argue, but we are guided by the principles of fairness, equity and justice. You don’t expect 26 people from different backgrounds to feel the same way over an issue every time. But we disagree to agree and we sort out issues to build blocks for democracy. If we have any disagreement, I won’t go to a radio station to start shouting, all that I do is to point out the particular area to the executive and we discuss it.

*How have you been performing your checks and balances roles on the executive as a House of Assembly?*

I have just told you that it is give and take issue. Checks and balances means, when you come up with an idea we will discuss it. But, we also perform our oversight functions on the executive to see what they are doing.

*Have you ever had any contentious issue, where you told the Governor that things should not be done in a certain way?*

I have just told you that this is a government that is based on the principles of justice, fairness and equity. If the executive brings any issue that we feel will not be in the interest of the people, we will draw their attention to it that if you do it this way or that way it would be better. We discuss it and we tell them what to do.

*Are you satisfied with the legislature in Nigeria so far as we have had disruption to the legislative arm of government each time the military took over?*

We are progressing. We are evolving gradually, by the time we get what is required, Nigerians will know that the Nigerian legislature is one of the best in the world.

*What about this contentious bill on traditional rites being contemplated by the Ogun State House of Assembly, how far has it gone?*

It’s still in progress, we are working on it.

*Restructuring is an issue people have been talking about. We had a Constitutional Conference in 2014, and the issue was discussed there. Do you think Nigeria needs to be restructured?*

Yes, but it should be through the constitution that we have on ground. The constitution tells us how we can change what we don’t want. Now that the National Assembly has come up with a programme for amending the constitution, what else are we waiting for? Restructuring does not mean that you should divide the whole country, it means devolution of power or you want state police, or change the mode of revenue sharing. The constitution is very clear on how to change what we don’t want in the country. The National Assembly has started, they are going all over the country, the governors have made their inputs, the state assemblies have done their own and other stakeholders have done their own too. Everything is now before the National Assembly. By the time they finish work on it they would tell us what they have agreed upon and once 24 states in the country agree with them, these will become part of our constitution. So, what other restructuring are we talking about? If we all agree on what is to be done such as devolution of power, giving more powers to the states, giving the local government autonomy, and letting the judiciary be autonomous in their operations among others, what other restructuring are we looking for? Are we looking for the breakup of the country? No. If we talk about restructuring like devolution of power so that every state or region can feel the sense of being part of the country, then we are okay.

I support the creation of state police and it has always been in the Constitution that more states can be created in the country. All we need to do is to follow the procedure, but someone cannot sit down here and say he does not support creation of more states in the country. I have my state and I am okay with it, but if some other people feel that their states are not serving their interest, nothing stops them from agitating or asking. It is their right, I believe in this than someone saying he wants to secede. Why are people crying for secession? They feel they are not getting a fair share from where they belong to. Though there will always be agitations, it is not wrong for anybody to asks for the creation of more states in Nigeria constitutionally.

*The issue of insecurity is serious at this time, whereas the APC came to power at the centre in 2015 and said they would fight insecurity, restore the economy and fight corruption. How best do you think the Federal Government can fight insecurity?*

As a matter of fact, the Federal Government is doing its best in fighting insecurity in the country. But we are also asking them to devolve power to the states, let us have state police and encourage other security institutions. In advanced countries such as the United States of America, there are federal police, national guard and state police. But in Nigeria, we have just one structured police with headquarters in Abuja giving commands. If we can have state police, involve the traditional rulers, the youth and make it all-encompassing to fight insecurity, it would be better. We also need to create jobs for the young ones to fight insecurity and allow information technology to be grounded in everything we are doing.

Ogun State is regarded as the Gateway State and the closest to Lagos State. This is where newspapers started from and we have so many elites there, how do you think the state can catch up with Lagos in respect to development?*

I don’t know what you mean by this; every state has its peculiarities. Lagos State is regarded as the Centre of Excellence, but Ogun State is the industrial hub of this country. We have enough facilities for people to come and establish industries in the state. As far as Nigeria is concerned, we are the host to most industries in the country. Most of the higher Institutions that you can count on are based in the Ogun State and we have some other things like that. So it is a question of peculiarities. But if we are putting Ogun State side by side Lagos State in terms of development, yes Lagos has developed more from the time of colony. So, every state of the country has its own peculiarities, we are not competing with Lagos State, but we are the best in our area.

Primate Ayodele’s Prophecy On Afghanistan Troubled Situation Comes To Pass

Internationally recognized prophet, Primate Elijah Ayodele is being celebrated again for the fulfillment of some of his prophecies which were noted in his annual book of prophecy titled Warnings To The Nation about the international communities.

Primate Ayodele, though a Nigerian based prophet is highly recognized for his prophetic declarations about nations around the world, sending warnings to world leaders as revealed by God. Recently, his prophecies on China, Germany, India, Mali, Peru came to pass as he put them in his book of prophecy 'Warning To The Nations'.

At the moment, his prophecy on the nation of Afghanistan has just been fulfilled. The man of God in the 2021/2022 edition of ‘Warning To The Nations’ (pg 256-257) made some revelations about the president and the security situation of the country. In one part of the revelations, He made it known that he foresees a protest seeking for the removal of the President, Ashraf Ghani. In Afghanistan as we speak, an Islamic sect, Taliban has taken over most part of the country, causing violence, killings and trouble. The group has also made it known that they will not stop this war until the president is removed, fulfilling the first part of Primate Ayodele’s prophecy.

Another part of his prophecy on the country warned the citizens of the United States Of America against going into the country because he foresees trouble happening in the country and defending them will be difficult. Fulfilling this prophecy, the USA yesterday ordered all of her citizens to leave the country immediately due to the Taliban war that has led to a widespread violence across the country.

Apart from these, Primate Ayodele asked the country to pray against strange happenings that will trouble the country. He advised the government to be watchful of terrorist attacks and trouble situation in the country. Yesterday, news broke out that the largest city in Afghanistan has been taken over by the Taliban which is of course very strange as it never happened before. Since this development, the country has been troubled, several have died and citizens now run for their lives.

There are many other revelations the man of God made about Afghanistan, most of which talked about the future of the country.

According to him, apart from encouraging customers to save their money, gaining interest, DiamondXtra also rewards them with prizes like Salary 4 Life, Business grants, education grants and among others.

“We encourage all Nigerians to sign up to DiamondXtra by Access bank, and start saving to win extraordinary prizes every day in this reloaded season as DiamondXtra is truly the most rewarding way to save,” Etuokwu said.

Also speaking , Mr Robert Giles, Senior Banking Advisor, Retail, Access Bank, said Season 13 was designed by over 600,000 customers who were surveyed on the changes they wanted to see.

Giles said DiamondXtra, introduced in July 2008, had impacted the lives of its loyal customers.

He said the bank had shared over N5 billion of prize money through daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly draws.

“We have given out education grants, business grants and Salary for life.

“The launch of DiamondXtra Season 13 is our best yet. And that’s because it is yours. From the very beginning, DiamondXtra was designed by our customers themselves,” Giles explained.

He said the customers told the bank that the return on savings was small, yet the reason to save was to transform and improve lives.

“Our customers said they want to keep Salary for life, Business Grant and Free Rent. They also told us to add lots of smaller prizes so everybody has a chance to win.

And finally they asked us to bring it closer home, and that’s why this year we are taking DiamondXtra into every neighbourhood so that people can see the difference and share with friends,” Giles said.

Mrs Adaeze Umeh, Group Head, Consumer Banking, Access Bank, said over 2.5 million customers signed up to DiamondXtra account, and that the figure kept increasing on yearly basis.

“For season 13, even our women will be greatly represented in every quarlerly draw.

“We will be having about 10 of our women winning of which one person will have an opportunity of getting a shopping allowance of N100,000 for the next 12 months and nine others will get N300,000 each,” she said.

According to her, 14 people will win about N1 million each to pay their rents.

“The one customers advocated for is the opportunity to get the business grant and to make it closer to home.

“We have our clusters across all our 600 branches, so all the associations, markets, group of journalists can actually come together open DiamondXtra with minimum of N5,000 and participate in the draw,” Umeh said.

She added that new or existing customers could either open a DiamondXtra account in any of Access Bank branches across the country or fund their account with a minimum of N5,000 which will qualify them for the draw.

Miracle money: Prove angels give money without people working for it -Apostle Johnson Suleman

Nigerian man, Yemisi Shillon, Friday challenged the Senior Pastor and General Overseer, Omega Fire Ministries International, Apostle Johnson Suleman, to prove in the law court that angels give wealth without one working for it.

Suleman had argued that Miracle money exists.

Reacting, a YouTuber, Israel Balogun, analysed and condemned a video from two of the programmes of the church, one in Atlanta, USA, titled, ‘Impact 2021’ which was held in July and a June 2021 programme, Holy Ghost Conference 2021 held in Auchi, Edo State Nigeria, tagged, ‘Harvest of Miracle Money’, where Suleman allegedly performed the miracle.

Miffed with Balogun’s submission, Suleman averred: “If you talk against miracle money, you are insulting God. That I will now arrange with people to pay money into their account and claim that it is miracle money? What money I’m I looking for? What name am I looking for? And you think that it is possible in the US with all the intelligence?”

Nigerians have reacted to hypothesis that money miracle exists. According to Pastor Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, condemned Balogun’s attack on the man of God, and explained what miracle money truly means, while drawing instances from the Bible.

He explained that what the man was referring to as miracle money was actually magic money and not miracle money.

On his own part, the founder and senior prophet of Christ MercyLand Deliverance Ministry, Warri Delta State, billionaire Prophet, Jeremiah Omoto Fufeyin has insisted that there is miracle money across churches in the country.

Fufeyin said even Jesus performed wonder of miracle money by locating money in the mouth of a fish to settle taxes.

Prophet Iginla Pens Open Letter To President Edgar Lungu

The shepherd in Charge of Champions Royal Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla has penned an open letter to president Edgar Lungu.

Iginla warned him to take the defeat in good faith and learn lessons from the just concluded presidential election:

your Excellency,

President Edgar Lungu,

I write this open letter to you as a prophet of God and an authority who has his degree in Political science and Masters In international law and diplomacy that you should  accept the outcome of this election in good faith. The people have spoken that they want wind of change as God has ordained it and any attempt to thwart that will lead to anarchy and history will not be kind to you .

It is obvious you have failed to fulfill  your electoral promises to Zambians and this has led to socio-economic meltdown in the country.

There are several factors behind Your unpopularity. One is the high cost of living, thanks to a faltering economy. According to the latest data on chronic poverty in Zambia from the Overseas Development Institute, the number of adults who cannot afford to have more than one meal a day has risen to 40% under your rule.

A second is the high levels of income inequality. Despite being a lower middle-income country, latest World Bank records show that nearly 60% of Zambia’s 18.8 million people earn below the international poverty line of $1.90 per day (compared to 41% across Sub-Saharan Africa). While poverty is endemic, several PF leaders have continued to accumulate and display obscene or grotesque wealth in ways that have alienated your  government from many Zambians.

The third is the country’s staggering debt, which, alongside your administration’s demonstrated lack of commitment to fixing its debt crisis through better fiscal management, has undermined the government’s capacity to improve service delivery, invest in social sectors, and reduce high unemployment. When the PF won power in September 2011, Zambia’s external debt stood at $1.9 billion. By December 2020, it had risen to $12.74 billion.

The lack of service delivery has been felt most notably in the health sector, where the effects of the coronavirus pandemic have exacerbated the crisis.

The fourth is the violent behaviour of the PF cadres who control the markets and bus stations. Your reluctance to stop their activities has emboldened their conduct, undermined the authority of the police, and left the public greatly exposed.

The fifth is the lack of policy consistency including in the crucial mining industry, Zambia’s major export earner. In addition to undermining revenue collection, this policy instability has raised significant consternation among foreign investors. Economically, this should be a good period for Zambia with strong commodity prices, but the government has interfered with mining in a very erratic way, forcing mines to submit to nationalisation.

Added to this is the closing democratic space, the deteriorating state of the human rights situation in the country,  the general breakdown in the rule of law, and the absence of leadership on key issues such as grand corruption in government, the so-called “gassing” incidents in early-2020, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and deepening ethnic divisions that have characterised the past five years.

Personally, I have warned you several times to listen to the voice of God and also revealed to you that you are surrounded by Judases. But you ignored me.

Rather, you backlisted me and barred me from entering Zambia again.

Of a truth, president Lungu, you tried your best in certain areas while governing the affairs of Zambia because your enthronement was an act of God. However, you should learn from this present predicament that it’s not good to forget your source or fight the mouthpiece of God whom God used to lift you up simply because he told you the truth from the throne of Grace.

Also, another lessons learnt is that you should be wary of yes men who hails you just to be in your good book but failed to give you the right information about happenings in the country. They only shout hallelujah before you just to deceive you and Massage  your ego.

My candid warning to you is that you should accept the outcome of this election in good faith as I have warned you prophetically about the will of God for you concerning this election. Don’t fight HH, rather congratulate him and focus on your health. I beseech you work on your health.
