Falconets: Re-defining women leadership in Politics.-----Funmi Vivian Adefolaju

The exploits of our female national team, the  Falconets, in the on going Female World Cup co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand  has been well applauded by Funmi Vivian Adefolaju a socialite and and social critics who said the Falcons have   flew so high, high up, above the Quebec mountains, over the Australian 'Doe', and ruffled the Lauren James led England gang.

According to her  "The roars of our women was held at all the cardinals, from the Atlas Mountains and plains of the Sahel,  the Falconets from the equator, and  the solid Bayana Bayana queens from the Kalahari desert, African female football had a good representation in the recent global football contest, and our women shook the world.

¹

A new realm has just been attained in the world of football by the Nigerian National Female football team, the Falconets and two other African Female National football teams from Morocco and South Africa. Their participation and performance has help to break down gender stereotypes of a mild version of their male counterpart. Their display of skills and control of tense situation has actually convinced the world that women can hold out in any realm if given the chance.  This has promote equality through their gusto and mastery of the round leather game. Therefore women leadership is capable of ensuring a more peaceful and stable world if given similar opportunity and recognition in political offices."

Speaking further , Princess believed  the performance of these three female national team  has boosted the status of African Women in global female football reckoning. "They have earned respect and their due honour from their erstwhile dreaded opponents. This was more so by their approached of each of their matches with the gusto that can be replicated if given a fair chance in the governance of our nation.

She will also task President Tinubu  President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to lead the vanguard  of making sure n the ability  of the other gender in playing a big role in consideration and the allotment of political positions to the females in his governance of Nigeria.

"I think it is of important now the duty of the female in the current political dispensation to go into politics, prove their mettle and worth as witnessed in the Super Falconets  displayed in the matches they have played.

Nigerian females must capitalizes on the Falconets achievement, for more reckoning with women in leadership role. Therefore women in politics, must ask themselves, what is that culinary skill set that can be translated for good positioning in the field of socio-political developments, beyond mere political campaign tools, should our mental strength be viewed with the mindset of weaker gender in leadership dependence and role?.

Women's political participation is essential for a healthy democracy, and it is time for more women to step up and take their place in the political arena much more than the role being occupied by women in the political determinants of Nigeria. We must agree with the fact that women's roles in public life have improved due to the political expression of gender division, and political mobilisation on the gender issue has assisted women in enhancing their roles in public life.

A lot of women has garnered diverse experiences and viewpoints, by playing significant roles in fostering innovative political support base, which has contributed to the growth and even enhances varied perspectives that has lead to better decision-making.

As a result, companies with higher degrees of diversity tend to outgrow those with lower diversity percentages. Candidly speaking,  the benefits of women empowerment to the  society?

When we empower women, we increase the skilled workforce, local economies are strengthened, businesses do better, and families rises out of poverty and create generational wealth and self-sufficiency which the end result do over flow to all Nigerians as witnessed in Nigeria's by all in the benefit of watching the success and fluidity of soccer display by the Falconets
