... Entertainers Says We're Happy To Be An Ambassadors To This Laudable Project
It was an enthusiastic moment when Popular, prestigious Celebrity Journal Publishers' Association of Nigeria CJPAN rolled out her second edition of Clean Up Lagos in Corporate Social Responsibility CSR in order for the reputable Association to contribute its quota to the society and Nigeria at large the event which was held on Thursday 31st August 2023 at Awolowo way, adjacent gigantic glass-house building besides computer village in Lagos State Nigeria.
The cleaning exercise began around 8:30am, when all members of the Association assembled and joined by the ambassadors of the exercise, Alhaji Sulaimon Adio Atawewe together with his colleagues in the entertainment industry, who's a notable actress, Foluke Daramola-Salako commenced the cleaning exercise at about 9:am
According to the popular musician, Atawewe who revealed that they ( musicians) make money in public, and there is need to support the cleaning exercise as well because Government alone can't do it all.
He however encourage other celebrities/personalities to partner with CJPAN in this laudable project for the subsequent event.Let the train moves on.He concluded.
In a similar development, a notable Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola commended CJPAN for the initiative of the clean up, Lagos State, a quarterly CSR exercise. She was very happy to be part of this memorable event/ project.It was an initiative that is centered on general environmental sanitation exercise for stable of the forth estate of realms.
CJPAN's President and Workaholics Publisher of Islander Magazine/online, Mr.Olarewaju Mohammed noted that the cleaning exercise is a laudable environmental sanitation event, doubles as the Corporate Social Responsibility of the association in order to give back to the society.
He maintained that If our environment is cleaned enough it will definitely reduces unwanted diseases in our community and society as it will saves us from whatever epidemics which might be ravaging the world.
The President of the Association, Alhaji Olarewaju Mohammed also revealed that the exercise to clean up Lagos and its environ, is the Association's quarterly event and asking corporate organizations to partner with CJPAN.
CJPAN is out to support in cleaning of the environment from one Local government to another during environmental activities/exercise and its promises to be a continuous exercise.He added
Meanwhile, The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) who supported the maiden edition threw their weight behind the 2nd edition as their truck arrived the venue in time in making sure that the exercise recorded a huge success.
It would be recalled that the maiden edition took place at Agege Local government last year and the exercise will transverse all the local governments in the state.
